What made you decide to run for a position on the CAN board?

I was looking to make a bigger impact with CAN; bringing my years of experience both professionally and with alumni organizations to help our chapters and CAN become stronger.

What is your favorite part of CAN? Your alumni club(s)?

I enjoy the camaraderie and the friendships that I have made with people from all over the country who are just as passionate about their alma mater as I am about mine.

How do you hope to leave your mark on the organization during your two-year term?

Just hoping to be representative of and responsive to the chapters I represent on the Advisory Board, and that after these two years, they will remember me as someone who truly served as their voice on the CAN Board of Directors.

How do you think CAN can best help its members?  How do you think you can best help CAN members?

While our sports have been the primary identity of CAN, we need to be more:  a true network that that sets us apart from the other social sports leagues.  CAN needs to help the members of our 250+ chapters draw on the knowledge, resources, and networks of each other to make us more than just a sports league.

What else would you like people to know about you?

Born in Houston (which is why I am a Astros/Rockets/Titans {Oilers} fan); raised in Virginia Beach; work as a political consultant; a Leo that enjoys long walks on the beach.
