Advisory Committee Membership

Any chapter in CAN may be a member of the Advisory Committee.  Membership in the AC requires serving on at least one committee (e.g. Business Development, Communications, Community Service, Social, Sports) regularly throughout the course of the year.  Membership also requires regular meeting attendance, including 66% of all CAN meetings (bi-monthly CAN general meetings, appropriate committee meetings and quarterly AC meetings) with a minimum of two monthly meetings and one AC meeting.  The Advisory Committee Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) outline the specific details of membership.

Each Advisory Committee Director oversees approximately 12 schools to ensure the school is actively participating and will be eligible for the upcoming elections.

Voting Eligibility

Active membership over the course of a year is required for a chapter to be eligible to vote in the CAN general elections for board members.
